These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Read the River, a service developed and operated by DCPz LLC (“DCPz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Read the River helps users monitor developing news subjects and organize source-backed reporting into Rivers, Bends, Current Facts, and Today’s Current editions. Features may change as the service develops.

Read the River is an informational product. News reporting, summaries, confidence assessments, and generated content may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. The service does not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Verify important information with original sources and qualified professionals.

Third-party content and services

The service may identify, summarize, or link to reporting and services supplied by third parties. DCPz does not control third-party content, availability, or practices, and links do not imply endorsement.

You retain rights in the monitoring requests and other content you submit. You grant DCPz a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and use that content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

Intellectual property

Read the River, its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by DCPz LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
